Quote Requests
This page lists every quote request sent to your firm through its public listing on the einvoice.ma directory. Each request can be converted into a quotation in one click: a prospect is automatically created and a pre-filled draft quotation is prepared.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”To receive requests, the Accept quote requests from the directory checkbox must be turned on in your Directory listing. This option is only available once your listing has been claimed and verified.
As long as those two conditions are not met:
- The “Request a quote” button is not shown on your public profile
- No request will appear on this page
Columns
Section titled “Columns”Each row shows:
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Date | Date the request was received |
| Name | Name entered by the visitor |
Visitor’s email (clickable mailto: link) | |
| Phone | Phone if provided (clickable tel: link) |
| Message | Beginning of the message (truncated at 80 characters, hover to see the full text) |
| Status | New / Read / Contacted / Spam |
| Actions | Create quote + menu to mark as read / spam |
Request statuses
Section titled “Request statuses”- New : the request just arrived and has never been viewed
- Read : you marked the request as read without replying yet
- Contacted : a quotation was created from the request (link kept in the data)
- Spam : the request is flagged as junk — it will not be replied to or converted
Create a quotation from a request
Section titled “Create a quotation from a request”Click Create quote on the relevant row. A few things happen automatically:
- A prospect (client) is created in your clients list from the visitor’s details (name, email, phone). If a client with the same email already exists, it is updated instead (an existing supplier is also promoted to client if needed).
- A draft quotation is prepared with the prospect as recipient and the request message carried over into the quotation notes.
- The request moves to the Contacted status and keeps a link to the created quotation.
- You are redirected to the quotation edit page: all you have to do is add the lines and send.
The Create quote button is disabled for requests already in Contacted or Spam status, to prevent duplicates.
Other actions
Section titled “Other actions”Each row has a menu with extra actions:
- Mark as read : switches the status to “Read” without creating a quotation. Useful for requests you plan to deal with later or through a different channel.
- Mark as spam : moves the request to “Spam”. It stays visible but can no longer be converted into a quotation.
A confirmation toast is shown after each successful action.
Email notifications
Section titled “Email notifications”Alongside this list you also get every request by email:
- The email body contains the visitor’s message
- The Reply-To header is set to the visitor’s address, so replying straight from your mailbox reaches them directly
The dual delivery means you can react quickly even without opening the app.
Best practices
Section titled “Best practices”- Deal with “New” requests quickly: a quote sent within 24 h meaningfully boosts the conversion rate
- Prefer Create quote over re-creating the client by hand — it saves time and keeps a trace between the request and the quotation
- Mark off-topic requests as Spam to keep the list readable
- If you are overwhelmed, temporarily turn off reception from your Directory listing
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The list is empty
No requests have been received yet. Check that Accept quote requests from the directory is ticked on your listing and that the “Request a quote” button actually appears on your public profile.
The “Create quote” button is disabled
The request is already in Contacted status (a quotation has already been created) or Spam. Open the existing quotation from the Quotations module.
I’m not getting email notifications
Check the contact email on your directory listing. Requests stay available on this page even if the email fails to deliver.
