Sharing with your Accountant
Invite your accountant for secure access to your financial data. This collaboration facilitates accounting monitoring and tax return preparation.
Pro Feature - This functionality requires a Pro or Premium subscription.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”This feature allows you to:
- Invite your accountant via email to access your data
- Manage invitations (cancel before acceptance)
- Revoke access at any time
- Control permissions with read-only access
- Facilitate collaboration for accounting management
How to invite your accountant
Section titled “How to invite your accountant”1. Access the access settings
Section titled “1. Access the access settings”- Go to Company → Settings
- Select the Access tab in the settings menu
- This section is only available with a Pro or Premium subscription
2. Send an invitation
Section titled “2. Send an invitation”- Click on “Invite an accountant”
- Enter your accountant’s email address
- Click “Send invitation”
- An invitation email will be automatically sent
3. Track the invitation
Section titled “3. Track the invitation”After sending, the invitation will appear in “Pending” state with:
- The invited email address
- Status pending response
- A button to cancel the invitation if necessary
Invitation states
Section titled “Invitation states”No accountant
Section titled “No accountant”- Shows the invitation button
- Ability to invite an accountant
Pending invitation
Section titled “Pending invitation”- Shows the invited accountant’s email
- Status “Awaiting response”
- Option to cancel the invitation
Active accountant
Section titled “Active accountant”- Shows the accounting firm name
- Accountant’s email
- Option to revoke access
Access management
Section titled “Access management”Cancel an invitation
Section titled “Cancel an invitation”If your accountant has not yet accepted the invitation:
- In the Access section, click “Cancel invitation”
- The invitation will be revoked and your accountant can no longer accept it
- You can then send a new invitation if necessary
Revoke access
Section titled “Revoke access”If your accountant has already accepted and is accessing your data:
- Click “Revoke access”
- The accountant will immediately lose access to your data
- You will need to send a new invitation to restore access
What your accountant sees
Section titled “What your accountant sees”Read-only access
Section titled “Read-only access”Your accountant will have access to:
- All your invoices and their status
- Your quotes and business proposals
- Client list and contact information
- Products and services with pricing
- Financial reports and dashboards
- Company information and legal settings
Restrictions
Section titled “Restrictions”Your accountant cannot:
- Modify or delete your documents
- Create new invoices or quotes
- Add or modify clients
- Change company settings
- Access billing or subscription settings
Context switching
Section titled “Context switching”If your accountant works with multiple clients using E-invoice.ma:
- A company selector will appear at the top of the interface
- They can easily switch between their different clients
- Each context is isolated and secure
Acceptance process for the accountant
Section titled “Acceptance process for the accountant”1. Receiving the invitation
Section titled “1. Receiving the invitation”Your accountant will receive an email containing:
- A secure acceptance link
- Information about your company
- Details about the proposed access
2. Acceptance
Section titled “2. Acceptance”- The accountant clicks on the link in the email
- If they don’t have a Macompta account, they will need to create one
- If they already have an account, they log in normally
- They confirm acceptance of the invitation
- Access is immediately activated
3. First login
Section titled “3. First login”During the first login after acceptance:
- The accountant will see your company in their selector
- They can navigate your data in read-only mode
- A visual indicator will show they are viewing your data
Security and privacy
Section titled “Security and privacy”Data protection
Section titled “Data protection”- Encrypted access: All communications are secure
- Strong authentication: Your accountant must have a verified account
- Access audit: Connections are tracked for your security
- Data isolation: Each company context is completely isolated
Full control
Section titled “Full control”- Immediate revocation: You can cut access at any time
- Transparency: You always know who has access to your data
- Limited permissions: Strictly read-only access

Section titled “Choosing the right time”- Invite your accountant at the beginning of your collaboration
- Coordinate for invitation acceptance
- Inform them about available features
Communication
Section titled “Communication”- Notify your accountant about sending the invitation
- Verify their email address before sending
- Guide them through the acceptance process if necessary
Ongoing management
Section titled “Ongoing management”- Revoke access at the end of collaboration
- Renew invitations if they expire
- Regularly check who has access to your data
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Invitation doesn’t arrive
Section titled “Invitation doesn’t arrive”- Check the entered email address
- Ask your accountant to check their spam folder
- Cancel and resend the invitation if necessary
Acceptance problem
Section titled “Acceptance problem”- Check that the link hasn’t expired
- Ensure your accountant has a Macompta account
- Contact support if the problem persists
Changing accountant
Section titled “Changing accountant”- Revoke access for the old accountant
- Send a new invitation to the new one
- Verify that the old one no longer has access

- Pro subscription: Full access to sharing features
- Premium subscription: All Pro features plus advanced options
